In his presentation, Michael showcases Barbra’s buttery vocals and charismatic performances from her film and television appearances, all projected on the big screen with big sound as her big and timeless talent deserves.

Elvis and The Rise of Rock & Roll

Inspired by the enormously popular multi-Academy Award nominated 2022 biopic Elvis directed by Baz Lurhmann and starring Austin Butler, classic film scholar Michael Van Den Bos presents an epic exploration of Elvis Presley’s comet-streaking musical career by way of film and vintage T.V. clips. Elvis’s emergence at the forefront of a new shake, rattle and roll music genre as its “King” is complimented with a look at the dynamic dawn of rock and roll in the mid-1950s through its evolution into the 1960s.
