Inspired by the enormously popular multi-Academy Award nominated 2022 biopic Elvis directed by Baz Lurhmann and starring Austin Butler, classic film scholar Michael Van Den Bos presents an epic exploration of Elvis Presley’s comet-streaking musical career by way of film and vintage T.V. clips. Elvis’s emergence at the forefront of a new shake, rattle and roll music genre as its “King” is complimented with a look at the dynamic dawn of rock and roll in the mid-1950s through its evolution into the 1960s.
Guests can purchase three signature cocktails, “My Way,” “Jailhouse on the Rocks,” and “All Shook Up,” created just for the event, in addition to other beverages and treats. Food and drinks are permitted in Studio 1B so feel free to enjoy your drink during the show.
