The shows will go on

By Erin Jeffery In Events January 19, 2022

For 2021/2022 we put together a bold season featuring a wide range of artists. The pandemic has affected that offering in many ways. From reduced capacity to artist changes and today, a postponement and a cancellation.
But most shows are still going on.
Due to the challenges around travelling during COVID-19, and a beautiful new baby in his life, Shaun Majumder’s show LOVE has been rescheduled from February 3rd to May 13th. Save the date, plan a date and get ready to fill your heart with laughter. Update your calendar and we will see you there!
Due to the close quarters involved with touring with a group, iskwē has chosen to cancel the Western Canadian portion of her tour, so the show on March 12th will no longer be going ahead.
The theatre is still incredibly active. We have our own presentations of Chilliwack this Saturday, International Guitar Night on January 28th , the two-week run of Arts Club Theatre Company’s Noises Off February 15-27 and of course Shaun Majumder: The LOVE Tour on May 13th. Other amazing presenters and promoters have shows running from now until the end of June. Make sure you check out our website as new events are always being added. There is something for everyone.
Currently, 50% capacity, vaccine passport checks and mandatory mask requirements allow us to remain open and provide a safe audience experience.
But the bottom line is, without an audience at the shows, planning forward may not continue.
We look forward to having you back to the theatre. You won’t regret it. Wonderful experiences are waiting for us all now and in the future with your support.
We must continue to experience the arts together
