By 19 she started playing guitar and by 23 started writing her own songs. Her vision to be a singer led her to come to Vancouver, BC and study Audio Engineering where she met other fellow musicians that kept the creative fire burning by delving into blues, soul and rnb genres. Her biggest inspirations being Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and Amy Winehouse she has shaped her sound to be a blend of alternative folk, soul and Rnb stylings. SOLA wants to move people from within her thought provokings lyrics and command your attention with her powerful and heartstopping voice. She looks forward to sharing her passion and vision with you at her next show.
