Few artists have achieved the level of public success and critical acclaim he enjoys from a dazzling career spanning more than forty years.  Cummings’ voice has been rated among the finest in rock music. As a singer and song writer he has amassed more hit records than almost any performer in Canadian history.  During his tenure with Canada’s original rock ‘n’ roll superstars The Guess Who he recorded the hits “These Eyes”, “Laughing”, “No Time”, “American Woman”, “Share The Land”, “Hang On To Your Life”, “Clap For The Wolfman” and many more.  As a solo artist he has carved his mark on minds and hearts with “Stand Tall”, “I’m Scared”, “Dream of a Child”, “You Saved My Soul”, “I Will Play a Rhapsody”, “Timeless Love”, and many other much-loved tunes.

As Canadian rock-music royalty, Burton Cummings is a six-time Juno Award winner, member of the Order of Canada, the Order of Manitoba, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, Canadian Walk of Fame, Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame, and Prairie Music Hall of Fame.  The accolades continue with the Governor-General’s Performance Arts Award, twenty-two SOCAN Awards and several BMI (Broadcast Music Industry) awards for more than 1 million airplays of his songs.  The critically acclaimed “Above The Ground” is his first album to feature all original songs written by Burton.

CONSUMER TICKET POLICIES

Tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable. Exceptions can be made for the following reasons:

If a performance is cancelled, re-scheduled or postponed you will be able to obtain a refund. If the performance is cancelled you will be automatically refunded.

If the performance is re-scheduled or postponed, your ticket will be automatically transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, please contact the box office and we will issue you a refund.

Massey Theatre has in place a detailed communicable disease plan, a new audience guide and new ticketing procedures to ensure events are safe and responsible. This information can be found by clicking here.

PLEASE NOTE: The Covid 19 pandemic remains a public health risk. The theatre is following all requirements for safe gatherings as per government directives. To increase your safety we encourage you and all guests to consider your personal wellness and risk factors for yourself and loved ones when deciding to attend. Individuals are responsible for limiting their own exposure to other guests. As such, the theatre can't be held legally responsible for risks related to viral transmission. Rest assured theatre staff are taking a proactive and professional role in the adherence to protocols in the facility and we encourage open communication with us if any safety concerns emerge throughout, or after, your attendance at the theatre. Applicable service charges (based on ticket price) are added to each ticket sold payable by the consumer.

Please note: All patrons in the theatre must have their own seat. Parents with babes in arms are asked to contact the box office to identify seating arrangements. Seniors rates apply to patrons age 65 and above and any children's rates apply to patrons 12 and below unless otherwise stated.
