A space/gathering for Filipinx youth under 21.
Salu-salo is a space/gathering where Filipinx youth will connect with one another through remembering language, history, and culture through shared experiences, discussions and activities. Participants will engage in the decolonization of the mind by revisiting Tagalog films, original Pilipino music(OPM) and Tagalog folklores. The goal is to reclaim individual identities as native Filipinx people and study the ways in which people understand what it means to decolonize one’s self.
Participants need to bring indoor shoes. Registration limited to 10 to allow for appropriate social distancing.

Workshops are presented by Immigrant Lessons and Artistic Director Kevin Fraser as part of a continuing program.
