Sajjad Ali is a living legend in the Pakistani music industry. He began his career as a child star and has gone on to become a prominent singer, songwriter, and actor. He has released numerous albums throughout his career and has won several awards, including multiple Lux Style Awards and Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence). His music is considered timeless, with hits such as ‘Charkha Nolakha’ and ‘Babia’.
Sajjad Ali’s fame rose sharply in the late 1980s with the release of his hit single ‘Channo’. The song was an instant success and gained him recognition both in Pakistan and India. He then went on to release several other successful singles, including ‘Tum Naraz Ho’ and ‘Babia’. He also collaborated with other prominent Pakistani singers such as Abida Parveen, Atif Aslam, and Ali Zafar. In 1994, he released his second album ‘Camel’ which was met with great critical and commercial success.
Sajjad has also acted in numerous television dramas and films. He is one of the most iconic figures in Pakistani music history. His timeless songs have been passed down from generation to generation and continue to be beloved by fans around the world. His influence has been so great that he has often been referred to as the “King of Pop” in Pakistan. He is an inspiration to many aspiring musicians in Pakistan, India and beyond.
