Volunteering
Being a volunteer usher allows you to see interesting shows and work in a theatrical environment - a fun way to spend about 4 to 5 hours at a time. Volunteer for shifts on evenings, weekends, daytime and mid-week. There is lots of flexibility. The main season is from October to June.
Massey welcomes volunteers from ages 16 to seniors and will train you. Tasks include showing people to their seats, taking tickets, concession sales, set up and clean up, and light security. The volunteers have a Front of House Manager to help them.

Technical Training & Development
Massey Theatre offers an informal training program for people who wish to learn about backstage technical practices in live theatre or improve their existing technical skills.
Those interested in participating are asked to submit a self-evaluation. Upon acceptance, participants are asked to attend a series of free workshops and begin work with our professional staff during set up, performance calls and on theatre and equipment maintenance projects. This program is best suited to students or graduates of recognized theatre training programs or professional technicians interested in transitioning to theatre from related fields.

Contributing Monetarily
To aid in securing the Massey's future and to assist with Massey Theatre's restoration and upgrades, financial contributions are greatly appreciated. The theatre will honour you with name placement and recognition appropriate to your donation.
We have many opportunities for participation whether major or modest, including bequests, planned giving and attendance at special events.
Contributions will be tax receipted. Massey Theatre Society's federal tax number is 13000 0078 RT001.
